The universal dimmer DIM2FU can independently dim 2 load circuits. The device automatically detects the type of load and correspondingly the required dimming action with either forward or reverse phase cut.
The max. switch-on-current for each channel should not exceed a load of 13A.
Each circuit permits a load of up to 570 W / VA, optionally combined with mixed operation of both channels: in case higher loads need to be dimmed, a pair of dimming channels may be merged; in this way, an output power of 1x 1140 W / VA can be controlled.
The robust metal housing also serves to cool the devices, by securely transporting off any possible heat load and thus guarding the device.
Overvoltage, current or temperature overload are detected to further ensure optimal protection.
With a single-button control on the top side of the device, each channel may be dimmed manually (without Bus voltage). This obviously allows the testing of the connect load circuit without any bus programming and simplifies servicing.
While allowing for a different number of load circuits, the flexible application software is identical for both versions of the dimming actuator, which once more simplifies design and configuration.

Apart from the usual dimming functions, two mood lighting scenes and two sequenced control commands are available, along with locking and switching. Just like all other parameter settings, extended status and error reporting can be enabled per channel, completing praxis oriented usage.
